VolunTeen Application
Thank you for your interest in volunteering at one of the Tennova Healthcare - Clarksville facilities. Volunteers serve an important role in our organization — our volunteers are often the first people patients and families encounter. There are a variety of areas where volunteers can serve, and we are always seeking new areas of assistance. If you have a desire to help, we have a place for you.
Opportunities are available at certain locations for women, men, teenagers (14 years or older), college students and pet therapy. Some facilities offer a junior volunteer program, which takes place during the summer months.
Once you fill out and submit one of the online volunteer applications below, we will contact you to set up an interview. This gives us a chance to get to know one another and provide information about volunteering, the hospital, and our service areas.
If there is an appropriate placement, and the background check has been returned, we will schedule a time for you to begin volunteering.
Most volunteers work one day a week for a 4 hour shift. Shifts may be flexible and tailored around your schedule in some service areas. If there is an appropriate placement area available, applicants must meet the following requirements before they can begin their volunteer duties:
- Pass a background check
- Take a tuberculosis skin test, administered by our employee health nurse
A little time to care, a little love to share.
