Gateway and Cigna Reach New Agreement

Gateway Medical Center and Cigna have finalized a new agreement between their organizations. Effective January 5, 2014, the new contract provides Cigna members in-network access to Gateway Medical Center and its services, whether elective or emergency. 

“Resolution was important for many reasons, but it is the patients with Cigna insurance who ultimately benefit,” said Mark Marsh, Chief Executive Officer at Gateway Medical Center. “This new agreement helps patients access the healthcare services they need close to home. We are part of a special community and are fortunate to be able to serve our friends and neighbors.”
