Tennova Digestive Care and Vascular Surgery Add Providers

CLARKSVILLE, TN (April 30, 2025) – Tennova Medical Group welcomes Seth Knox, PA-C, and Joshua McDaniel, PA-C, MPAS. Mr. Knox will serve the patients of Tennova Digestive Care and Mr. McDaniel will serve the patients of Tennova Vascular Surgery. Both clinics are located at 647 Dunlop Lane in Clarksville.
Seth Knox is a certified physician assistant serving the patients of Tennova Digestive Care - Clarksville. Seth received his bachelor's degree in intelligence studies from the American Military University in West Virginia and his master’s degree in strategic studies from the National Defense University in Washington, D.C. He earned his MHS in physician assistant studies from South College in Nashville, Tennessee, graduating with honors. Seth is a member of the American Academy of Physician Associates, is a DOT Medical Examiner, and has volunteered with area health-focused charities.
A 22-year military veteran, Seth retired as a Special Forces medical sergeant with 8 combat deployments. He provided medical care for injured soldiers during his deployment and also provided logistical support for medical operations in the countries in which he was deployed. Seth received the Bronze Star with Valor from the US Army.
While a student at South College, Seth had an opportunity for hands-on training in the areas of emergency medicine, internal medicine, orthopedics and surgery. He looks forward to serving the patients of Tennova Digestive Care - Clarksville.
Joshua McDaniel is a certified physician assistant serving the patients of Tennova Vascular Surgery - Clarksville. He received bachelor's degrees in both clinical nutrition and dietetics from East NT State University in Johnson City, Tennessee and physician assistant studies from the University of Nebraska in Omaha, Nebraska. Joshua also received his master’s degree in physician assistant studies from the University of Nebraska in Omaha.
A military veteran, Joshua worked as an Army physician assistant both at Fort Campbell, KY, and in Voru, Estonia. He provided primary care, urgent care and austere medicine while deployed in Estonia. At Fort Campbell, Joshua managed urgent, primary and aeromedical care for over 800 military personnel. He received several commendations from the Army before his retirement in 2024, including the National Defense Service Medal, Humanitarian Service Medal and NATO Estonian Mission Medal.
Josh is working directly with Dr. Alan Werner at Tennova Vascular Surgery - Clarksville and will assist with patients before, during and after their procedures. He is certified by the National Commission on the Certification of Physician Assistants.
